Hey Mark….
Mark Gephart who was co-teaching the MMPPT in greenville had the
following to say once he took an intro to ACAD r12. "Grips are wonderful
but why didn't you tell me about them in the first place?"

The real answer is: Every Educator has their own style of teaching, and
method of delivery. As long as the final result, (the learning outcome) is
a productive strong user, that's what really matters.
Teach me effectively and quickly how to be really productive, and that's
all I ask.
Remember the question: who came first, the chicken or the egg? Answer:
The lizards (dinosaurs) came first.
I'm beginning to want to change my curriculum (OH NO! Not AGAIN!) to
include small self-learning modules, and let the course participants decide
what they want to discover first: edit or grips?
BTW, how was the MMPPT ? (you lucky devil, grrrrrr). Input, please.

MMPPT was great!!!!! Now if I could only have a little time to play
around with it I'd be fine. Not only was the session informative but
really pumped you up. Nancy & Mark really did a fine job. they brought a
lot of experience to the session. There were several participants who had
done some projects with 3ds & were happy to share their experiences. i.e.
how do you play a 67MB animation in real time ANS: with 80MB of RAM.
Wayne If your listening more of the same I think would be greatly
appreciated.

Macmillan/McGraw-Hill's Glencoe Division, phone (800) 334-7344. I believe
evaluation copies are available to schools and training institutes.
