Yeao! I've been screwing around with my supra fax v32 bis modem and NComm for a couple of days trying to download from Compuserve. CIS B has never worked, although I have gotten YMODEM G to download but not lately. Sure glad – heh heh heh – somebody else has the same problem! Does anyone have an answer? I like the program too. I've used Ncomm 1.921 for many months and as it did all I needed I did not look at version 2 until a friend who's new to the Amiga asked me to set it up for him. I too found that the Compuserve B setting did not work. However, I was sucessful once I set the phone book entry to external xpr. Ncomm would then auto download once I told Compuserve to send the file. But Ncomm kept storing the file on the floppy rather then to the default download directory. I'm not sure why it does this as Ncomm v1.921 stores the file correctly. I haven't had time to look further into this problem as yet but it may have something to do with how I have my assigns setup. Try using the external xpr setting and see if it works for you. If you are sucessful in getting it to send the file to ram: rad: or vd0: please let me know. +Scott+
