Can anyone tell me why I can't get my recoverable ram disk running with a StarBoard2Meg. I put the files where they say and changed the mountlist as directed. Do you need a special Handler file? All help greatly appreciated!!! My last message seems to have scrolled off before I got an answer. Chris A.

Christopher, Not absolutely what problem you're having with it. So here it is: Copy the asdg.vdisk.device to DEVS: on the boot disk. If you have the mountfile in MountList, be sure the high track is an ODD number. You can eliminate most of it, but make sure you have it all between the `#' characters. In your startup-sequence file (in S:) be sure to add the Mount VD0: as the first thing. You then either cd VD0: or dir > NIL: VD0:.(after BindDrivers is a good place) I'm not too familiar with your particular memory, but try making BUFMEMTYPE=5 in the mountlist. You may have to play with that particular setting. If I'm wrong on this, ask someone who has the same setup, and has VD0: running. They can probably tell you for sure. Hope this helps, Doug
