[ continuation ] button. The drawer banks can have a scroll bar so you don't have to page through the banks. Drawer banks can even be completely removed from the Directory OPUS 4.0 interface. Buttons: Button banks have been made more flexible, with support for banks of six, three, two, one and no buttons. This allows those users on 200 pixel high displays to make more room for entries in the directory lists. Button banks can even have their own scroll bar. For developers: By removing all the buttons from the bottom of Directory OPUS, you have make a browser only version. This makes it useful for novices who only want to be able to browse your system. Minimize to just a row of buttons and still work: BuyttonIconify allows you to shrink Directory OPUS down to a bank of buttons available from the Workbench. You can still do most of the things you could from Directory OPUS (copy, delete, rename, etc). One of the nice things about this mode is that the AppIcon/AppWindow feature still works. You can drag/drop an icon from Workbench on the buttons. So to see a picture simply drop it on the Show button. To rename a file just drop it on the rename button. AppIcon support: When defining a function simply drop a program on the Directory OPUS appicon and the function will be defined for you. Functions can now be more than one entry long. For example you could make a directory, copy some files and then delete them in one keypress. Before, you could do this only by programming an AREXX script or AmigaDOS batch file. Now you do this directly from the ConfigOpus program. Quicker Configuring with File and Directory Requesters: All fields that need a directory or file have a gadget that brings up a file or directory requester — so you don't have to remember file names.
