I have seven CD ROM drives attached to an Adaptec controller on my OS/2 1.3
LAN Server (PS/2 80-A31). There are 6 Sony drives and a Hitachi and they
all work well. The device driver is SCSI Express for OS/2.
I just got 4 NEC CDR-74 drives and a second Adapted controller and
installed it and reconfigured SCSI Express. When I run the SCSI Express
configuration program, it sees the 3 NEC drives on the second controller
with the correxct addresses but when I reboot OS/2, only the first drive is
recognized by the device driver! I can move the drives to the first
controller but still only the first drive is seen! Is this a fault with
the NEC drives, SCSI EXpress, or me?
