I think I'm finally giving up with trying to get my Trantor T-130 adapter
card to work with my NCR CDR-74 and going back to the PAS+ adapter with
came with the drive (even though I preferred my SB Pro). I've tried every
which way to get the adapter to work properly with my software to know
avail. Although it boots the drive properly, it "dies" whenever large
amounts of data start coming in from the drive. I can only conclude that
(1) there's something strange wrong with the card that allows it to handle
small amounts of data transfer but not large amounts, or (2) this is the
first card I've come across that is incompatible with my Gateway 2000
486/33. If anybody else knos anything about this, I'd love to hear about
it. Otherwise, I'm returning the card after the holiday.
