Greetings — I just purchased an NEC CDR-25, my first, but not my last
CD-ROM drive.
Well I also purchased for Christmas for my wife the Sherlock Holmes
Consulting Detective from Icom Sim. But alas when I received it I find that
on the box it says 380ms or better speed drive. As you know the CDR25 is
only 600ms.
Can I use this game? Will it play but the video be jerky? Or is it
unusable, anyone know?
I hope to be getting an Apple drive in the next few months also, so even if
I can't use it now, maybe then.
And as I posted in section 1 I'm very interested in acquiring MANY new
titles. Anything from demos to whatever. Please contact me if you have any
you want to get rid of, or know great deals.
