When I look at .WRI files from Nautilus, most of the time the text is in vertical form, i.e.: N au t i lus Some are not. Any idea what's causing that? (I bought your demo disk, Vol. 2-11, I think… ) Thanks Bob Pierce

Bob — There are two things to check. First, open one of the files you're describing. Then, choose Print Setup from the File menu. What is the page orientation? Landscape or Portrait (it should be portrait). I don't know how that gets set, but it happened to me once and all of sudden all of my WRITE files were looking very strange. You can reset the default page orientation using the Printers appelet from the Control Panel. Second, you can check the [Font Substitutes] section of your WIN.INI. Nautilus WRITE files should all map to Helv or Helvetica which in turn *should* map to something like MS San Serif or Arial. If you've got a strange font substitution there instead, that could be causing problems, too. Let me know if either of these things help. Margo Riedel Nautilus
