Pioneer Computing have been advertising in AmigaWorld and Amazing Computing. They list prices for hard disks which are quite attractive: 20 Meg @ $660 40 Meg @ $880 65 Meg @ $950 Now how can they offer these drives at such prices? Does anyone know anything about this outfit? Does anyone know where I can get a hard disk cheaper? Thanks, – Steve –

That 65mb drive sounds like the ST277R that I have in my PC. The ST277R is a half height drive using RLL instead of MFM recording to put 65mb of formatted data on a three platter drive. The drive and controller for my PC cost me $599 plus shipping mailorder.
