Concerning a recent request for help in transfering Library files. I will be more specific. I have Delux Music 2.0 and in order to get it to run with MIDI equipment it calls for the following: Install in Workbench 1.3, IFFParse.Library in the WB libs: assigned drawer. Also put ASL13. Library and CAMD. Library in the WB libs: assigned drawer. My question is how do I first locate the files and then how do I get them in the proper WB drawer. Also the Workbench 1.3 is about full. What can one safely delete and still have a working WB. Any help will be sincerely appreciated, thanks.

Make a working copy of the Workbench disk, and go into the C: directory. Do a "list" and look for large executables. Edit and DiskDoctor were two files that went in the ol' bit bucket for me, because I never used those on working disks. Since you're working with a backup if you delete something you find out you'll need later, you can always get it from the original. In a CLI (or SHELL) look on the Deluxe Music 2.0 disk (probably in a libs directory, if there is one) for those .library files. Copy them to your Workbench's LIBS: directory. Steve

William, With your workbench disk in DF0: put the DM 2 disk in DF1: Open a shell and enter the following lines (each followed by a CR): COPY DF1:LIBS/IFFParse.Library libs: COPY DF1:LIBS/CAMD.Library libs: That'll do it.
