Hello,
I am a new CompuServe member, and a new 3D Studio user as well. Hopefully you
can help me with this annoying problem (provided I figure out how to send out
this message, this will make my 3rd try.)
When trying to view .FLC or .GIF files using Ani Pro Animation Player
my point of view is "in too close" allowing me to only see the center
portion of the image or flic. Going to Screen Size produces this
message in a dialogue box. "Can't Querry Module "DLDVG256.DRV" Entry
Ignored: Driver isn't Rex relocatable executable. Not a driver." I
must then click on CONTINUE about 4 or 5 times to get the Screen Size
menu back. At that point when I pick either one of the Panacea
drivers listed (I'm using Panacea's Turbo DLD Classic driver) I'm
kicked out to DOS with this message. "Can't open screen with driver
8514/a.DRV. 8514/a adapter not found."
Does anyone have any suggestions? What other ways are there to play animations
or view images created in 3D Studio? Should I be saving them as another file
type? I look forward to your response.
In my other message I thought you were using Animator Pro to view the files,
not the stand-alone player, so never mind.
It sounds like you're using the wrong driver. Do you actually have a 8514/a
card? If you don't, then you need to choose a different driver, like the
various VESA ones (assuming you've got a VESA compatible card).
