Hi Brian, many thanks for the AT commands advice, I have got to admit
that most of my problems were of my own making. You see when I first
started to use this modem about a month ago, I altered the factory AT
settings and reset it to &F when it should have been &F2 which
resulted in no Error correction. Since I have reset I have had no
problems at all (touch wood). Once again thanx for taking the time
to help me out.
