I have ProWrite 3.3.2 and am running AmigaDOS 1.3. Is there a way to improve the print quality of my output to a 24 pin dot matrix printer by using my existing Compugraphic fonts. I realize I can import my documents to Pro Page and get good output that way but shouldn't I be able to use these fonts directly?

Claudio, We support the outline font technology under AmigaDos 2.0 and later. The 1.3 version of the operating system did not have support for outline fonts included in it. What you can do is to create bitmaps for the screen font as well as a double sized font for ProWrite to render the document in when printing. With the 24 pin printers under 1.3 you should be using a print density of 180X180 and have AspectAdjusted turned off in ProWrite's Page Setup Requester. This will yield the best results. The Marble font and The Granite font that were provided with the ProWrite distribution disks are designed to work well in our High Quality printing mode as well.
