It's the hi-res flc player that I'm having trouble with. I don't have Animator
Pro, just the animation player. Sorry for the confusion. My hardware and
stuff goes like this:

Thanks for giving it a try.
My first suggestion, though it may not affect the driver choice, is to exclude
your Diamond card from the EMM line. Find out where the vga and accelerator
live in upper memory, and statements similar to this: x=c800-cfff (probably not
the Diamond address). This may resolve a memory conflict, but if you don't
even see the vesa.drv as a choice then you may not have it in the correct
directory. It officially belongs in the RESOURCE subdirectory of AAPLAYHI (or
whatever directory name you gave the player).
