I have a message in my out-basket for Craig Bruska and the info. indicates this forum, geology section. But I keep getting a funny message that I'm in the wrong forum when I try to send it. Any suggestions.

Hi, Lynne– You need to be "in" the SCIENCE forum to send a SCIENCE forum message; if you were idling in basic services or in another forum when you tried to send it that would explain the squawk. You probably already knew that, but I like to cover all the bases. As Rick suggests, copying and pasting from the old message into a new one may solve the immediate problem; if it repeats it may be due to a damaged forum database or some such thing. Since you mentioned MacNav, I assume you have a Mac, for which I would have no clear notion how to destroy and rebuild that database (something I have seen advised in DOS CIM help forum for a similar problem). I think there is a connect-charge-free forum for help with Mac CIM as there is for DOS CIM; I am guessing it would be GO MACCIM – they should have details there. –Doug
