Steven; Problem solved. With having missaligned slots (on both BB slots) I had to do a bit of hard pushing. Two of the pins prodruding on the back of the BB were very close or touching; surprising it didn't blow. Anyway I staightened all the pins and re-installed in a BB slot. Hey presto! life. So thank you very much for your time and suggestions. It took me some time to find the fault. I downloaded the new Enforcer like you suggested. If you would, please answer me one more question. How do I get the mouse to work in dosshell? I added the JANUS path and AMOUSE cmmand to the AUTOEXEC.BAT and at boot get the message that AMOUSE V1.7 is installed. But I can't get it to work. Any ideas? Thanks again Dave Kay Flying in from Montreal.

David, several things could be wrong. Did you press LeftAmiga-P to transfer the mouse to the IBM side? DosShell may not like your mouse driver (I'm using 2.0 here). It only hates my video now. What version of DOS are you using? I can't think of anything else, but my experience is limited here. Just what my BB has subjected me to lately. Brian bjbart@watserv.ucr.edu

David, Use Left-Amiga P to activate the mouse on the PC side. Repeating that sequence will move it back to the Amiga side. It's a simple toggle.
