I am _slowly_ managing to teach myself the C programming language.
I thought I might accelerate my learning curve by taking a course at a
local college, but was rudely awakened by the reality of just how small
the local campus is (in terms of variety of classes).
Does anyone know of anyone who is teaching / will teach courses via
e-mail? Over the internet, per chance?
I'm most interested in learning C programming, but if there are any other
courses out there, I'd be curious.

You can take college courses via CompuServe with the University of Phoenix. To
do so you must have at least 50 units of college credit. U of P charges
approximately $350 per unit … a 3 unit course runs 5 weeks.
