Hello This is my first time I have written to this forum and to some of you this may seem a strange request as I do not know the latest version. Here in the U.K the magazine PC Home has just given away on a disk, version 1.02 of Autodesk Animator. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a book of instructions on how to use this program ? Here in the UK via the same magazine it is possible to buy the pro version (1.3) for 300 pounds which is still way out of my reach money wise. Would it not be better to drop the price further so that more people could buy the program ? Many thanks John Matthews.

You can purchase the Autodesk Multimedia Explorer for around 95 quid. That will give you the full docs for Animator. You will also get a pile of royalty free clipart, the Windows player, and CD full of amazing animations. Unfortunately, I don't know of any software distributors currently selling Explorer in the UK so you should try Autodesk UK Ltd on 0483303322 for a lead. We tried to get the DOCs for Animator and actually ZIP them onto the distribution disk but the deal never went through. How did you like my tutorial? Possibly you didn't think to much of it if you're here looking for a manual! Well, there's another 4000 words of it coming out next month. Phil Shatz, Contributing writer with PC Home Magazine

I'd be very interested in seeing your article, I haven't seen "PC Home" in the local bookstores. How could I get a copy?
