I need a removable storage device for an Amiga 4000. I don't want to use
SyQuest because the disks are too expensive. I'm looking at Iomega's 21 mb
floptical drive and some other 128 mb Magneto Optical drives. The media for
these devices can be had for less than $50.
I'm using the GVP Impact Series II SCSI card in about half my 4000's and
Commodore's 2091 in the others. I need to know if I can use either the Iomega
floptical or some other MO device with either of these cards. I'm all out of
slots on the 4000's, so I need something that will connect to my existing SCSI
controller.
I'd appreciate any advice.
