I have a viper pci and I am currently trying to install NT 3.5. The generic p9
drivers do not support 1280X1024 which I have been running under w [C windows
3.1. The generic drivers also seem to crash my system when I try to reboot. I
am running a pentium 90 (intel premiere PCI board) with 32MB and Nanao F750
monitor. At this point after trying to install the drivers that came with my
board, the machine crashes as soon as I try to change displays on the NT
control panel.
The Windows NT 3.1 drivers will not work with Windows NT 3.5. What version of
the BIOS do you have for the Viper PCI? Have you contacted Microsoft regarding
this issue? The Viper PCI, and Weitek P9000 drivers that ship with Windows NT
3.5, are Microsoft's drivers.
