#VR Export Resolution?

I have just purchased Simply 3D and am very much intrigued by it.
Unfortunately, its 640 by 480 maximum export resolution is inadequate for my
print-based graphic design work.
Does Visual Reality support higher export resolutions?
What other advantages does VR offer over Simply 3D for users like myself who
work with four-colour print-based media. (E.g. Does it import CMYK TIF files??)

VR does indeed support higher resolutions. unlimited in fact! hope it helps

Are you saying VR supports unlimited EXPORT resolutions? So if I want to, I can
export a TIF image of a given size (e.g. 4" by 6") at a given resolution (e.g.
270 dots per inch)?
Or am I forced to deal with screen resolution terminology only, and therefore
restricted to 1024 by 768, 640 by 480, and so on? The trouble with these is
that they translate into unacceptably low dpi resolutions when imported into
PhotoShop.
unlimited export resolutions… although it does take awile if your computer is
slow read less than a pentium. zach

As Zach noted, you can render to file at any resolution or color depth, at any
aspect ratio. For a 4"x6" image at 270dpi, you'd render to a 1080×1620 file
size.

Thanks for the feedback.
I currently have simply 3-D, and want to go to a full-powered 3-D rendering
program. Would you list a few reasons I should go with VR rather than, say, 3-D
Studio?

the reason I got it was price 395 is much better than 3000 dollars. also it is
relativly easy to use.
