#3d studio on OS2

Yes, it does. I'm running 3DSr3 under Warp now – I wouldn't consider DOS,
because that means I'd have to use FAT. OS/2's HPFS is much better for 3DS
work.

Yes, but I don't recommend running it in a window – just switch it to the
background. My system has an S3 805 video card. I set my MAIN display for 16
colors, and that allows it to run in the background. I've been told there's a
way to get a SLAVE rendering setup without ANY graphics display – that would
be GREAT, but I haven't found out how to do that – I downloaded the latest
VIB3DS, but no clue.
BTW, if you're really into OS/2, you can run 2 copies of 3DS on the same
machine. Put one in SLAVE mode in the background, and run the other as a
modeller – render to the network, and your background copy will do your
rendering for you. This is more for show than anything else, but it works.

Use the Vibrant NULL driver. It is at the very bottom of the list.
