AutoVision Release 2 began shipping with AutoCAD Release 13 for DOS and Windows
at a suggested retail price (SRP) of US$495 (US domestic only). Until January
31, 1995, AutoVision Release 2 will be offered at a promotional price of US$295
with new and upgrade AutoCAD Release 13 purchases. As of today, the SRP of
AutoVision Release 1 for DOS and Windows has been reduced from US$795 to
US$495. Educational pricing is available for accredited institutions.
Current AutoVision owners will be able to upgrade to AutoVision Release 2 for
US$149. Until January 31, 1995, a US$99 promotional upgrade price will be in
effect. Customers who purchased AutoVision Release 1 between August 15, 1994
and November 28, 1994 can receive a free upgrade to AutoVision Release 2
through their Authorized Autodesk Dealer.
