#PAR backup!

re: Hope you get into this problem as fast as possible.
We are working away at it. It is hard to pin down because it isn't
consistant. Some computers work, some don't. We were able to put together a
system that definetly doesn't work, so we have a test platform know. Up to
this point it has worked fine for us. surprise…! We will post what we find
out as soon as we have something to report.
If there is any information you want about my setup that might be of help,
please let me know

Hi Brick,
Welcome back. You and your help here have been missed during the past month.
FWIW: I, too have this >896 frame backup/restore problem with the new 1.30b
Par.exe. I use an EISA 486-66 with 32 megs of ram. The DOS controller is an
EISA DPT cache w 4.5 megs into a SCSI II 1.3 G drive. DMA is supported on
this platform. The MB has 1 meg of cache and AMI bios.
Hope this info helps you track down the problem.
Otherwise things are going very well with the PAR and I am using it everyday
for creating special effects on grabbed video / NLE / output to edit master.
