Jonas > I'm clueless from the file what the scene looks like and what would be rotating. I would suggest that you create a 3DS scene with a mesh that represents the file. < On the file that Terry sent you, I think I can clear up a few things on it. The area that reads: MOTION DATA FOR READS05 TIME X-POSN CG Y-POSN CG HEADING SECONDS FEET FEET DEGREES 0 0 0 0 0.033 2.69 0 0.05 0.067 5.37 0.02 0.18 ETC.. This would be "object01," lets say for the car body in a scene, from the top or plan view. This would be considered the YAWL rotation of the scene. The next part: "WHEEL SKIDDING 0=NO, 1=YES" RF LF RR LR 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 ETC.. These items would be linked items to "Object01" and would represent the wheels of the car; IE. RF=RIGHT FRONT, LF= LEFT FRONT, RR= RIGHT REAR, LR= LEFT REAR. These items would just follow the parent object for this exercise. So I guess the question is this. How would you incorporate this type of data base into a script file that would move the object "Object01" in the YAWL rotation plane ? Or would you ? Chuck Rogers (Reel Images)
