I recently purchased 3DS 4.0 and I saw various vibrant drivers for the MGA or Matrox cards. I was wondering if someone could tell me if there will be a specific driver to take advantage of the 3D hardware present on the Matrox Impression boards (especially the PCI Impression+) to do real-time (or near-real time) simple shading and model manipulation. ANY help would be appreciated. BTW: I'm using a Pentium 90, Matrox Impression+ PCI, 40MB Mem, 3DS 4.0, and Liquid Speed but a little more speed won't hurt! 🙂 TIA, Jerry Lee Northlight Studios

I'm still looking for the Vibrant driver upgrade (beyond 1.05 released with the Rev 4 Liquid Speed upgrade included in 3DS4) that WILL RECOGNIZE my Matrox MGA Impression + board. I'm currently having to use RCPADI = to get my system up and running and it's costing me plenty in the Liquid Speed throttle department. The nice rep at Vibrant assured me a month ago that the new driver would be available in the ASOFT Forum by now, and…well?! Still looking fellows!
