I have a Sony 33A CD drive with the Sony controller, (it's drive E:). DOS and
WINDOZE find it fine – I can go to that drive, do a directory on it, run
programs on it, etc. However, when I get into AniPro it doesn't seem to know
that the drive exists. Is there something strange about how AniPro decides
what drives are available for the file lister? I have tried not loading the
drivers high,a naked boot, etc, with no luck – any suggestions besides copying
the clipart to my
hard drive before starting AniPro?
Usually, doing something on the CD-ROM (like a DIR listing) to "wake it up"
just before going into AAPRO does the trick. write a batch file that does a DIR
on the CD-ROM and than starts AAPRO, and the problem should go away.
