Maybe you should read everthing BYTE had to say in this months issue. I
cant see how you could possibly say they were unfair. I am NOT talking
about the past but in this issue in particular
I found it too be very accurate and fair. They even said Amiga: The
Pioneer (in reference to multi-media).

I, too, found this month's Byte to be a welcome relief from their past.
What *DIDN'T* I like? Jim Seymour's slam in the current PC Magazine…he
talks about AutoDesk Animator, and says something to the effect of (ie I
don't have the article in my hand) 'Animator is a good program DESPITE (my
capitalization) its Amiga origins…'
Now, wait a minute…
And wasn't Animator done by Jim Kent, of the Atari ST?
Sigh…

Actually, Kent wrote it on his Sun before he ported it to the Atari, and
then to the Amiga. Thus his slavish worship of the 320 x 200 pixel screen,
which lives on to this day in the PC VGA version of the program. Text
looks awful in this mode. So write Seymour a letter, and correct him. Slap
his wrist for sliming the Amiga. He should know better.
