NOVA DESIGN, INC.'S IMAGEFX 2.0 NOW SHIPPING! RICHMOND, VA., December 19th, 1994. After more than two weeks of shipping pre-orders and upgrades Nova Design, Inc. announced that ImageFX 2.0 began shipping in quantity this week to distributors and dealers worldwide. This upgrade represents over a year and a half of focused work and attention on ImageFX by Nova's expanded programming staff. Over a dozen new loaders and savers have been added, more than two dozen new special effects, more retargetability and a new thumbnail preview system are just the highlights of this package. Early users and beta testers of ImageFX 2.0 are already using it's vast array of tools in soon-to-be-seen films, video productions and print media. They have reported the special effects tools rival those found elsewhere only as inhouse tools at dedicated special effects companies. "ImageFX brings much needed tools to the Amiga platform to let us create effects we couldn't have done otherwise. The possiblities are endless!", says Tom Williamson, Effects Supervisor for Computer Cafe. Last minute additions to ImageFX 2.0 include support for the new Epson 1200c scanner and additional controls for many of it's new special effects such as Lightning and PaintFX. "User upgrades and dealer orders have been great.", said Nova Design, Inc. Sales Manager Bob Fisher. "This response has shown that the Amiga software market is much healthier than some have claimed." ImageFX's suggested list price is $349.95 US. Upgrades from any previous version of ImageFX are only $124.95 US to registered owners. For upgrade orders you may call (804) 282-1157 or 1-800-IMAGE-69 in the US and in Canada.
