I, like many others, have been waiting for this forum. I live in
the Washington D.C. area and am atrying to leave LANs and DataBases
to get into video and animation. I have some experience with video
production (local acces) and I pick things up wuickly in the digital
work world. I know some people think athe near future of 500
channels of TV will mean 500 channels of crap, but I can't wait. More
is better! I love surfing late night cable and belive that even if
someone is polluting the airwaves with garbage it IS expression and
IS protected by the 1rst Amendment. Digital video can lead to new
artistic avenues and, with lower production costs, give more people
without corperate sugar daddies a semi-afordable way to express
themselves.
Timothy, I like your atitude, you almost sound like a libertarian. When it
gets as easy to broadcast video as it is to write e-mail, we might get a realy
positive revolution going. Keep in touch with news from the center of
