I'm Lew Waldeck. I am executive director of Speak For Yourself, a
resource for greass roots organizing, local lobbying, and video to
support such projects. We work in D/Vision for short(<15 min)
projects and have just bought a Fast Video Machine Lite for longer
ones. We have our own 3 chip camera and spend much time originating
material for small not for profit groups. I'm glad to see there is a
DTV Forum now. I hope we can help each other find answers to those
problems our manufacturers keep blaming on each other.

Content production for non-profit groups is one of the areas that
interests me. Perhaps you could describe how projects get off the
ground. I imagine you are commissioned by the organisation, or do
you go through a bidding process? Do you ever 'market' ideas,
scripts or product to them unsolicited?
