Hi, can anyone give me some infomation regarding Avids VideoShop. I am
purchasing a package called "Apple Video System" which includes VideoShop. I
suppose it must be an early version. Any infomation will be appreciated.

A few years ago, there were two main contenders for desktop video
editor of choice on the Mac: Premiere and VideoShop. In those days,
VideoShop was owned by a firm named DiVA. Later it became the AVid
product it is today. Somewhere along the line, Premiere pulled ahead
in the race in terms of gathering market share, and other competitors
entered the race as well. Still, VideoShop is a fine product in its
class, but I would check out all the competition before purchasing.
