What sort of experience do you base this statement upon? The sort of
configuration mentioned by Mr. Mayer sounds ideally suited to his
needs. The Fast Video Machine with DPR option is absolutely capable
of Betacam / Broadcast quality output in the hands of a capable
operator. I would volunteer my services for his proposed project if
my Fast VM wasn't so busy satisfying my current customers!
