DEAR BETTY I have my Term program set to Zmodem (protocol) and ANSI/VT102 (Terminal). I have 1,200 Baud rate, Strip Bit 8 (activiated with a check mark), and my xon sxoff(activated with a check mark). In my Workbecnch Prefs I have 8-n-1. I have Handshaking set to RTS/CTS, and my input buffer at 512.

Joan, CompuServe does not support ZModem. You will have to select one of the protocols that CompuServe supports, since you must use the same protocol for CIS and for your computer. It's a little like two people trying to talk – they need to do it in the same language. Select from B, YModem, or KERMIT. Set your terminal for one of those, and then tell CIS to use the same one. —Betty
