Calling out around the world. Calling out to all animators everywhere. I'd like everyone to THINK BIG. I challenge you to THINK BIG. Bigger than a fly-by of a city. I'd like everyone to THINK WORLD. THINK GLOBAL …..Act Local …..ACT GLOBAL Why should we allow war to continue? What can we do about it? Successful conversation will take you very far….. There are flash points all over the world. Bosnia is a river of blood. Russia is at war. Korea? Where next? Why not launch a propaganda campaign of peace and love?!!!!!!!!!!! The promise of the collaborative efforts of the highly skilled and novice animators who gather here is that we have the power to change things. We can participate in the making of the new world. WE HAVE THE POWER. We can communicate to the world that WAR IS OVER IF YOU WANT IT. Let it rain. Let it pour. Bombard the world with light. Rain on a sunny day. Rain down your animation on the world. Help wipe out ignorance by offering enlightement. That water coming through the pipe is the digital stream of information. It's hitting you right in the face. Light is bending all around us. Fiber optics? Clear like water. Carrying light. Carrying the message. Satellites. Cellular telephone. Fax machines. Telecommunications. Video Tapes. Cable Television. World Wide Web. Internet. Fidonet. CompuServe. Network Television. Public Broadcasting. You can't stop the message from getting through. We want to fly through rain. We want to transition through water. We want to fly through underwater caves. We want to build skyscrapers of glass. There is meaning to this syncronicity. Our animations contain the message. What do we want to say? We have the power. We must use it. We have the power to offer hope for a brighter day. We can use our skills: to educate, to enlighten, to encourage, to embrace, to challenge the world to do something productive. We are the creators of powerful weapons in the war on poverty and ignorance. The animators I am looking for don't need a translation. You are tuned in. It is not a matter of intellect. It is a matter of feeling. It is a matter of the heart. The answer is blowing in the wind. I want to spend my time working on real world solutions to real world problems. There is a need for novice and skilled animators alike to answer the call. We need a mass mobilization. We need it now. Worldwide. International. We need to take our collective works and our collective visions and begin to right the wrongs. Want to play games? Let's play R. Buckminster Fuller's World Game. Imagine all the people Living Life in Peace Imagine all the people Sharing all the world You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will be as one. – John Lennon You want to create an awe inspiring reel of animation. Here's your chance. Kevin C. Gibson -= One World One Love =-

Okay, how do I .. hmmmm, page 78 of my IPAS3 disk 6 tutorial says the procedure for FLAME is the same as VAPOR, okay.. let's see, "where there's smoke" I see… oh, this is nice, it is all here in one manual, when I see things start to DEFORM, I can refer to page 37. And, kewl.. here on page 83, what I can do when my brain starts to SCATTER. Nice. Thanks for the tip. James Franssen Imagination Station

>> Have you ever been up to Bend to check out the BatCave/MoonBase that is part of L7? << No, but I would very much like to. Right now though, I am in a bit of a panic trying to get demo reels together to send out. >> P.S. You have an invite to the Mardi Gras! << Being in this dark hole huddling over low-level radiation emitters for so long, I have been out of it. What Mardi Gras? James Franssen Imagination Station
