Hi everone.
Has anyone tried the Fuji betacam SP tape stock? The reason I'm asking is that
in the Hi8 we use for acquisition, the Fuji stock has outperformed Sony stock,
and I'm wondering if this is the case for beta also.

I use SONY Beta Cam Stock and FUJI Hi/8 stock. I have been told that the SONY
Beta Cam recording decks are optimized for use with SONY tape. I don't know if
that is true but I don't take chances. And you are correct. The Fuji HI/8 tape
is working better for me than SONY.

Thanks, Avery. I'v gotten 5 responses back, 3 of which say that Fuji has fewer
dropouts in beta, 1 says Fuji has more dropouts than Sony.
