I don't know what happened to my original message, but here it is again: Is anyone aware of any external box-type scan converters for overlaying VGA onto video (so a ^portion^ of the video consists of graphics)? Specifically, I'm looking for one that runs on DC power, is small, and quality is very important. Thanks Jeff Shanholtz

It sounds like you are looking for an external unit with genlock (possibly for titling). If this is what you are looking for, I haven't seen any. There are a number of internal genlocak cards which install into your PC. The VGA Producer Pro is my current recommendation. I will be looking at the new crop of cards in the near future. Jeff, While I don't know of a single box solution, a two box solution would be a vga-ntsc encoder and then a mixer/tbc/dve system that could shrink and position the output of the computer over another video source. -John
