Martin, BIX is accessed through the TYMNET network. Find a local access number for TYMNET in your area and call it. When you here the service connect, hit a couple of CRs (RETURNs). At the prompt "please enter terminal identifier" type an "a". Then it will ask for a username, type "BYTENETI", then it will ask for a password, type "MGH", then it will ask for a bix login, type "BIX", then it will ask for a username again, type "guest", then follow the system prompts from there, or try calling BYTE itself and ask them for access info for your area and an account.
