I Was wondering wether anyone would notice that little gem. On the newer Amigas (this one came with Amiga Basic Dos 1.1 etc) and was shipped direct about 3 weeks ago the drive eject button only goes in about 1/2 as far and goes all the way out when there is no disk in the drive. It is kind of hard to explain as I don't have one here and have forgotten exactly the difference. But If you or any one else who is familiar with the Amiga sees and uses one you will recognise it right away. They are also MUCH quieter. As quite as Panasonic or TEAC 5 1/4 inch 1/2 heights. Here is another gem from Mini Micro Systems November 15th issue Fall Periheral Handbook Epson SMD-180 3.5 in $110. QTy 1 Panasonic JU-364 $138 qty 1 The above are the only drives that have a price quantity one listed and I assume that they are the same specs as Amiga drives If any one knows the exact specs for Amiga drives ie. Access time transfer rates tracks per inch, and dimentions please leave me a message and I will keep a list of compatible second sources for those who wish to roll there own drives.
