Actually I was involved in the video craze as a space-age arcade designer. I
was part of a company that built video arcades resembling interiors of
starships. Captain's chairs with 'Stargate' controls built in, projection TV
monitors, computer graphics displays, computer controlled lighting and sound,
closed circuit TV, Laser effects, you get the picture. Attending Vidgame trade
shows, I got to know some of the programmers. (Got wasted with them, mo I also
ended up doing all the major repairs on the game boards in said establishments,
and got pretty darn familiar with a lot of them. After the game business hit
the rocks, I started developing commercial software in ernest.
