I think you've given this particular audience all the chance they deserve.
Maybe one or two lurkers will pick up one of A.R.'s MANY FICTION OR
NONFICTION books as a result of this thread. In my opinion, any further
discussion is likely to be detrimental, due to the increasingly irate
climate. This is only my opinion, however. If you think differently, go 4 it.
I've led some of the freeware arguments, even though I've read some of Rand's
works, specifically "The Virtue of Selfishness", "For the New Intellectual",
and parts of "Capitalism: the Unknown Ideal". Perhaps in the context of
science fiction her ideas would be easier for me to swallow, but I doubt that
many people automatically fall in line behind Rand just from that reading.
Though I would recommend it to anyone, just as I would recommend many other
