Hello, I am a new user to Compuserve and would enjoy any HELP anyone can
give me or just say hello! My name is Jason White I own an AMIGA 500, and
am just a semi-beginner. I would like some help in using my amiga if you

Welcome to Compuserve! One of the easiest ways to get help
here on CIS is to drop by the Conference Room area in AmigaTech after about
10pm PST just about any night. AmigaUser Conference gets some use too, but
the Tech CO area usually has a few people in it at that time, and we're
always eager to help, answer questions, or just chat. You will want to log
on at 300 for conferencing though, to save money.

Hi Jason!
My name is Ken and I am a fairly new CIS user myself. I have had a 500 for
about two years now with 1 3.5 ext. drive and 1meg. Anything less is VERY
frustrating! But now I am enjoying the wide spectrum of views, opinions
and friends here in CIS. I don't know if you have yet seen or heard of
WHAP!, but it is definately worth the peek! It will save you LOTS in
online time, and is the only thing which keeps me here so often. Without it
I couldn't afford to enjoy all this.
Drop me a line sometime, I would love to hear from you too. BTW I am in
the wonderful(?) state of Missouri…where'bouts are you?
