#protocol

Thanks for the info! I now have all of the decompression programs
installed in C:.
A couple of questions. I'm using Baud Bandit software. Which protocol is
best? Also, I can't run CLOAD.DOC. Is there a description somewhere of how
to run each 'file.xxx'?
Thanks!
Sorry to interrupt in your messages, but I wanted to relate a problem I've
had with Baud Bandit using CIS B protocol. It doesn't seem to work like it
should on MY system. I get a "protocol initialization failure." when I try
to do a CIS B download. I called Progressive Peripherals, but can't get
them to call me back with an answer. I don't know if its my hardware (A500
1meg & Goldstar GS2400 modem) or Baud Bandit. If you can get CIS B
protocol to work, let me know.
Mark,
Baud Bandit's B proto is broken. Try using JRComm or Access.

Broken??? Why did the joker at Progressive Peripherals tell me it should
be working? Are they just putting me off or what?
Mark,
I should retract that and say "various people have reported that it's B
protocol is broken". I have not personally used the program.
James,
CLOAD.DOC is a text file. View it with MORE or TYPE it from the CLI.

James,
You need to read CLOAD.DOC with a file reader such as MORE from your
Workbench. CLOAD.DOC is the file that will tell you how to run the program
CLOAD.
