My DF0: and DF1: both report "No disk in unit n" when I use the CLI command dir df0: or dir df1:. But if I do a dir diskname: where diskname is the label on the disk, the directory displays okay. Any clues as to why this is happening? Cheers, Paul (WA1OMM)

Paul, Type INFO at a CLI prompt, let me know what it says for both devices and mounted volumns available. Don

I have an Amiga 500, so I (unfortunately) don't have the problem you do with the "backwards drives". A friend of mine does though, and I think he "swapped" the drive connectors (jumper cables) to the drives so that the drives were in a more "PC" type order. Just a thought…….. Ciao for now……..Ken Dunham 76467,601
