Does anyone have a utility for checking out basic existance scsi devices?
I'm trying to add a tape streamer to my 3K and am not sure if I've got a
s/w or h/w problem. So far all I can get it to do is reset itself when cpu
is reset (so i guess that means i've got some level of physical connection)
but s/w treats it same as non existant device.

have a little PD utility called SCSILister which does exactly what you
want. Call 805-349-1104. Will mail you disk. Also IVS puts something like
it on their TrumpCard software disk.
Thanx GVP now thinks an upgrade of Tapestore software will fix problem but
I can't get into thier BBS till Monday to try to download file. Will give
you call mid week if i'm still stuck.
