I don't think we have a problem, Steve. As I understand it, the user of a VAX
doesn't have to concern himself with the VM mapping … that gets taken care of
by the operating system. The discussion was: some people seem to have
interpreted the fact that the Amiga uses "scatter loading" as implying that you
can't write normal assembler-language code … only PC-relative code. I pointed
out that scatter-loading was the normal situation for a lor of VM machines,
including the VAX.
