Hi there. I am curious about the .MOD files that exist in library 4(?) I have DL a few to play using TRAKBLASTER and they are excellent. My problem is that the descriptions are not at all descriptive. Does anyone know what type of music these files really are? Thanks

MOD files are music files created using Soundtracker or Noisetracker or equivilents. They consist of the musical score combined with the necessary instruments to play the score. The MOD files we have here are generally soundtracks from some european demos and games, all pretty much original music. –>Steve Bennett

Thank you for the prompt response. I regret that I may have asked my question improperly. I have DL several MOD files and have been quite impressed. My concern is down loading these files blindly without knowing the TYPE of music. From your comments, this may not be possible. Any ideas? Thanks,

Umm… If by *type* you mean Rock vs classical vs jazz, etc? Most of them would fall into the Rock category. (And *don't* ask me which *type* of Rock… I've long ago lost track of them, since I mostly follow classical…) –>Steve Bennett
