Where's Janus?

Anybody, I have experienced a wierd problem with my BB. When I usually boot it, I get the customary Janus handler V2.20 found at… message. However, I didn't get this message yesterday, I don't know what is wrong. I tried reinstalling the software with no luck… An attempt to make a virtual drive on the Amiga just crashes the board. It seems there is no communication between the two. For info: I have a CGA board also connected and an external 3.5 drive. I tried taking the drive off but no luck. Also, when the board initializes after a binddrivers execution, I hear the beep and the weird tone that usually accompanies the Janus message. What's wrong? -Tim Stonis

Timothy: A problem might be created with the addition of the CGA card. Since the BB emulates a CGA card itself, perhaps they're getting in each others way. I had a booting problem a while back. What I ended up doing waaasa re-installing all the software from the start by using direct copies of the original disks. Looks like a long afternoon's project. Hope this helps Paul
