Harry, the Microsoft Small Business Consultant disk I have (came from DAK)
came on one disk with MS Stat Pack. I haven't been into it for quite a
while so this is from the documentation: Small Business Consultant includes
full texts of 220+ publications from the Small Bus. Admin, Dept of
Commerce, Vets. Admin., Dept of Defense, Gen Servs. Admin, and the
accounting firm of Deloitte Haskins & Sells. Things like how to write a
business plan, accounting, venture capital, liability, import-export,
dealing with the government (with addresses & names). I seem to recall it
is the sort of stuff you'd expect in government publications. The Stat
Pack part has a whole lot of US government data — wages per metro areas,
agricultural production, vital statistics, foreign trade, etc. It is not
at the level of a census Tiger file but is mostly for the whole US or maybe
by state or sometimes metro areas. Hope this helps.

Richard, thanks for the info. Maybe you should mail that info to MicroSoft
so their helpdesk folks know about it <g>. Now you got me wondering about
MS Stat Pack. Sounds sorta like the stuff for which I'm looking. Hope I
can find it in CShopper. If not, I'll call DAK and see if they'll break it
off a package <sure they will…>.
