Dear Famous, I just sold my sailboat or I would use the Sony 1302 as an anchor. Sony won't let their customers get near a technician. You get to talk to a girl in the sales office who relays your message to a more senior person who then explains your problem (third hand) to a technician. He (the senior person) then call the girl whom I talked to and then she call me. Some system! Some lousy customer support. I have concluded, by talking to myself , the the monitor is NG. "NG"…that's Japanese for NO GOOD. Now I can drive 30 miles to a Sony service center and then what? No problems with line voltage. Just a teeny picture. Like maybe it is the in thing. Everything teency. Baby carrots, baby corn, baby scalops, baby salmon…now baby Sonys! I would take it back to the dealer but it worked fine there with an IBM and a color card. I guess I'll have to buy another boat. Yes, I read about you in "Transactor"! Jon Byk/LA

Jon, As long as you are going back to your dealer…take both the Sony and the Amiga back there so you can set it up and show them your problem. It might end up being worthwhile. Don
